Spring 2025 Volunteer and Intern Potluck and Reading

In the work of poupeh missaghi and Ghalya Saadawi, critique derives its power from the irreducible idiosyncrasies of lived experience. Through fragmented prose and the voices of unlikely characters, they examine the ghostly debris left in the wake of historical ruptures. Missaghi and Saadawi work with the raw material of ideology—subterranean beliefs that shape how we think, what we remember, and what we inevitably tend to forget.
