Emmalea Russo is an artist, writer, and astrologer. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on edge spaces in human consciousness and art. Her books are G (2018) and Wave Archive (2019). Emmalea has been an artist in residence at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and 18th Street Arts Center. She has taught classes and workshops through Northeastern University, RA MA Institute, Parsons School of Design, The Art Institute of Cincinnati, and her Arthouse Astrology School and pens a weekly newsletter exploring intersections of art and the cosmos. Her work has appeared or been written-up in Artforum, BOMB, The Brooklyn Rail, Bust, Cosmopolitan, Hyperallergic, Los Angeles Review of Books, Publishers Weekly, SF MOMA’s Open Space, and The Yale Review. She lives between NYC and the Jersey shore.
