Christopher Rey Pérez is a poet working from within a matrix of opaque folklore, violence, and language. His first full-length book, gauguin’s notebook, was published by &NOW Books, and his writing has also featured most recently in magazines and exhibitions such as diSONARE (Mexico), The Brooklyn Rail (U.S.), Terra Mediterranea: In Action (Cyprus), and You really know where you are. For the first time in history (China). Currently, he lives in the West Bank of Palestine. He is originally from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
