Dana Ysabel Dela Cruz is a community organizer and poet living in New York City. Born in Manila, they have lived by the ocean their entire life. Their work is situated in the people’s struggle against empire. They are a 2023-24 Emerge–Surface–Be fellow at the Poetry Project.
