Each workshop extends beyond the time and space of the workshop meeting — through the writing that happens both during and after, through the friendships that form, through the knowledge that is shared. Footnotes is a place to celebrate the ongoing nature of our workshops and reading groups, opening the archive as a way to share the writing and thinking that has already happened and to invite others to engage with and continue that work. As the great workshop leader Bernadette Mayer wrote, "Please add to this list."
