Holly Melgard is the author of Read Me: Selected Works (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2023), Fetal Position (Roof 2021), and ten other self-published books on Troll Thread press, where she is a founding member and designer. Her work has appeared in BOMB Magazine, Best American Experimental Poetry, and was translated in the German journal Merkur. She has also performed her work at such sites as the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Her PhD dissertation was titled Poetics of Ubiquitization: Textual Conditions of and for the Ubiquitous Computing Age. A recent faculty in the Banff Winter Writers Retreat, she currently teaches writing at NYU and CUNY, freelance book designs, and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
