Chax Press has just published Michael Gottlieb’s Selected Poems, his twenty-second book. His previous book, Mostly Clearing (Roof) was adopted for the stage and presented at the Poetry Project in November, 2019. Other books of his include What We Do: Essays for Poets (2016, Chax Press), I Had Every Intention (2014, Faux Editions). A native New Yorker and first-generation Language poet, his work includes memoirs and essays. He divides his time between New York City and Connecticut.
