Joselia Rebekah Hughes and Jimena Lucero challenge the borders between artistic mediums and genres as they also complicate clear distinctions between art-making and embodied, daily life-making. Their work each in different ways does not only represent an act of creative care for both the self and community but is itself an act of care, a step towards learning, healing, and transformation.
