Constantina Zavitsanos

Constantina Zavitsanos works in medium based time. Zavitsanos has exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, New Museum, Artists Space, The Kitchen, and Participant Inc. in New York. With Park McArthur, they wrote “Other Forms of Conviviality” in Women & Performance (Routledge, 2013) and “The Guild of the Brave Poor Things” in Trap Door: Trans Cultural Production and the Politics of Visibility (MIT Press, 2017). With Arika, Amalle Dublon, Carolyn Lazard, Jerron Herman, Park McArthur, and Alice Sheppard they organize the cross-disability arts events “I Wanna Be With You Everywhere” in New York and online. Zavitsanos received a Wynn Newhouse Foundation Award, a Keith Haring Fellowship in Art + Activism at Bard/CSS and a Roy Lichtenstein Award from the Foundation for Contemporary Art in New York.
