Redistributive Art: A Dis/Course Workshop with Diya Vij
In this workshop, the curator Diya Vij will lead a collective exploration of the myriad ways that socially engaged artists confront gentrification, displacement, and territorial nationalism through tactics of re-occupation, autonomy, reparation, sovereignty, the abolition of private property, and other reimaginings of the relationship between community and land. Participants will work together to re/define tactical terms to re/map possible actions in their own communities and beyond. They might even play a game.
