Brontez Purnell is a writer, performance artist, and musician. He is the recipient of the 2022 Robert Rauschenberg Award for Risk Taking in Art from the New York Foundation of Contemporary Art and the 2022 Lambda Literary Award recipient for “Best Gay Fiction” for his short story collection 100 Boyfriends.
