Described by James Schuyler as “the most stimulating poet of his generation,” Charles North has received two NEA Fellowships, a Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant, and four Fund for Poetry awards. His recent Everything and Other Poems was a NY Times New & Noteworthy Book, and What It Is Like (2011) headed NPR’s Best Poetry Books of the Year. He has also published chapbooks, essay collections, and collaborations with artists. He is Poet-in-Residence at Pace University NYC.
