Ciarán Finlayson is a writer and editor based in Brooklyn. He is the author of Perpetual Slavery (Floating Opera Press, 2023), and his writing has appeared in publications such as Artforum, Kunst und Politik, and Blank Forms journal, and in catalogues for exhibitions at the Studio Museum Harlem, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt, Berlin. Finlayson has taught social theory at Columbia University and the Interdisciplinary Art and Theory Program in New York and the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. He is Communications Director at the Fiscal Policy institute and a student in the Department of Economics at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
