Jo Stewart is a poet and theater maker. She was recently a member of Meredith Monk & Vocal Ensemble, rehearsing and touring “Cellular Songs” from 2017-2019. She is the winner of the 2020 Sublingua Prize for Poetry, judged by Khadijah Queen, and has previously been an artist in residence at Vermont Studio Center, Azule, the Old American Can Factory, Anderson Center at Tower View, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and others. Jo is currently a cross-disciplinary MFA candidate in the Literary Arts program at Brown University.
