The Poetry Project

KS Brewer

KS Brewer is an interdisciplinary artist who explores trauma’s sources and impacts through experiential and multi-sensory combinations of video, time-based tech, sculpture, and installation. Confrontational and uncanny, disrupting and distorting assumptions of space, time, and being, her work aims to connect with audiences on an intuitive, visceral, and emotional level that can equally engender discomfort or validation.

KS holds a BA in Film & TV from NYU. She has participated in Satellite Art Fair’s ‘Queer Form’ Panel, the Thessaloniki Queer Art Fair, Wallplay’s Pride exhibition, and the ChaNorth and Laboratory Residencies. Her work has shown internationally, including exhibitions at 601 Artspace, The Border Project Space, Aggregate Space Gallery, Flux Factory, and Hosek Contemporary. She is the curator of STAG at the Museum of Sex, and a volunteer for the New Sanctuary Coalition.
