Lynne Sachs embraces both film and poetry in her life as an artist, a feminist, and a teacher. Her work includes hybrid forms, combining memoir with experimental, documentary, and fictional modes. In 2019, Tender Buttons Press published her collection of poems, Year by Year Poems. In 2020, she completed the feature Film About a Father Who which premiered at Slamdance and then at the Museum of Modern Art. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
