Mae Howard is a visual artist and ritualist. Calling upon lineages of disabled/trans labor, Mae is interested in the embodied, fleshly, and material enmeshment of BDSM, the medical industrial complex, biopolitics, and disability. Mae's work has been exhibited in New York, Berlin, Mexico City, Philadelphia, and Glascow. They are a 2024 EmergeNYC Fellow and a 2023-2024 Whitney Independent Study Program Studio Fellow.
