The Poetry Project

Nicholas Hauk

Nicholas, a man with brown hair, sits at an angle. He is wearing sunglasses, a light blue shirt, and khaki pants.

Nicholas Hauck thinks and practices translation as an embodied encounter between different modes of expression. Current projects explore the interconnectedness of body, text, and performance, specifically as it relates aural/oral experiences (sound poetry, homophonics, non-human sounds). He is the author of L’inhumain poétique (2022) and Walter Benjamin, unessai (2015). He teaches at Brock University: nhauck@brocku.ca
