Tavia Nyong'o is a writer and curator and the author of two books, The Amalgamation Waltz (2009) and Afro-Fabulations (2018). He is a professor of performance studies at Yale University and curator of public programs at the Park Avenue Armory. He is editor at large of the journal Social Text and has written for publications such as Art Forum, Frieze, and The Guardian.
