Proceeding from radically different angles—a sprawling polyphony of influences and procedural constraints—Kimberly Alidio and Grace Nissan each engage in acts of world-making, and by extension, in acts of undoing. Through grief and its close relation to utopia, language becomes a site of (de)composition, signaling an ethics that lives between what is and what could be.
