Reading
Often I’ve found myself reading/writing/editing my own poems like, “Who pulled these words through my hands? Who exactly wrote this?” I don’t mean for these questions to sound self deprecating or suspicious—I’m honestly just curious! Inspired by works from Jorge Borges, Wanda Coleman, and Octavio Paz, together we will spend time considering the inhabitants of selfhood, mirrored images, paradoxical realities, internal myths, Janus figures, the gulf of persona, and the fringes of narration.
