Jodi Lin

Jodi Lin is a New York City based Writer and Filmmaker. A graduate of the ART Institute at Harvard and Sarah Lawrence College, they have also been invited to complete a course of study at the Maysles Documentary Center. Their short film “Borte, Queen of Tibet,” a fearlessly honest autobiography about their recovery from Schizo Affective Disorder, was nominated for the festival prize at the Soho International Film Festival and received numerous other screenings. Their current work, “The Tenderness of Glass” is a long form narrative told through poetry and prose. Believing that love is a political act of resistance, the theme of timeless love dominates their writing. Other writing include “Centuries Strong,” a feature length screenplay about reincarnation, and “The Pastimes of the Queen of Tibet,” a novella inspired by the diaries of Anais Niin. In addition to work as a Script Supervisor and Video Editor, Jodi has previously worked as a theatre artist for over a decade.
