Rainer Diana Hamilton writes about the forms that dreams, art, and love have taken. They are the author of four books of poetry: Lilacs (Krupskaya 2025), God Was Right (Ugly Duckling 2018), The Awful Truth (Golias 2017), and Okay, Okay (Truck Books 2012). This Reasonable Habit, a book-length poem about a phone call, co-written with Violet Spurlock, is forthcoming from Spunk Editions. They received a PhD in Comparative Literature from Cornell University, where they tried to define "style," and they work as the director of the Baruch College Writing Center.
