Susana Plotts-Pineda is the author of In Order to Extract the Memory it is Of Course Necessary to Build the Room (Futurepoem, 2026). She was a recipient of a Fulbright García-Robles Award in Creative Writing in Mexico City. Her poems appear in New Mundo, The New York Review of Books, Lana Turner, The Brooklyn Rail, and elsewhere. She has received support from Naropa’s Summer Writing Program, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, and Brooklyn Arts Exchange’s EmergeNYC.
