Language has the potential to limit and expand realities. As gender expansive people we confront language that is weaponized against our existence, lean on language that is a tool for liberation, and transform our individual and collective reality across languages. Four translators and poets of trans experience come together to discuss the particular knowledge that brews in the process of translating literary works. A moderated conversation led by the curatorial fellows.

Curated by Xime Izquierdo Ugaz y Edua Restrepo Castaño

Featuring: Cristóbal Guerra (U.S. Puerto Rico), Kama La Mackerel (Mauritius, based in Canada), Pao Lebrón (U.S.), and Jess Simón Castaño Cuadro (Colombia)
