More Than a Medium. Examining Poetics as Methodology. — 10-Session workshop with Arielle Twist
On the occasion of Pipilotti Rist: Prickling Goosebumps & A Humming Horizon, please join Hauser & Wirth and The Poetry Project for the third iteration of our Salon Series for Gathering, initiated by Pipilotti Rist, featuring BRAIDS, a living room psychodrama with artist Alex Tatarsky.
Within the multisensory experience that is Rist’s immersive exhibition, the Salon Series for Gathering will present multiple opportunities to engage within the installation’s whimsical ‘collective living room.’
For our final salon, trained clown and delinquent poet Alex Tatarsky will treat Rist’s installation as the set, lighting, and sound for an improvised living room psychodrama, generating text and movement for scenic fragments inspired by imagining the furniture itself as the characters.
