Poetry is made of the sticky substance of thought, when it remains undifferentiated from feeling, childhood, from history as it lives in the body. Christopher Kazar Janigian and Isabel Sobral Campos are poets attuned to matter as it meets larger social narratives. They write in a language whose residue continues to nourish us beyond the poem.
