Crackhead Barney and Ann Liv Young both approach performance as a scene of antagonistic improvisation and improper provocation. They are artists that say the unsaid and do the undone. Crossing wires between symbolic contestation and physical confrontation, they turn arts venues into disorderly public spaces and street corners into riotous performance stages.
