S*an D. Henry-Smith + julie ezelle patton
Two towering monuments to lucidity, clarity and the extreme ends of a woman’s sense of humor; two singular artisans of the monologue and the morse-code Instagram story sequence. Jasmine Sanders and Nicole Linder notice facts about reality that the rest of us tune out, and transform that noticing into ballistically precise reads. Being forced into obsession—un-repressing what it means to want anything at all—has never been more humiliating or more gratifying, for hysterical and hysterical people, all of us.
This event will also be livestreamed for free on The Poetry Project's YouTube channel.
