In 2018, I wrote an essay about crushing that continues to haunt me. Together, we will read about: love under impossible conditions, romance, entrapment, co-dependence, the quotidian. We will consider: the ethics of writing about people you love, consent, reciprocity, the urge to merge, the rush in crush. We will write: lists, poems, diary entries, scenes, fragments, whatever.
